Gluten-Free Stuffing
Looking for a gluten-free stuffing recipe for Thanksgiving? Below is a simple recipe from Savory Foods. Try it out with your choice of gluten-free bread or pizza crust, and gobble it up tomorrow with your turkey!
Savory’s Gluten-Free Stuffing
- 1 gluten-free pizza crust, cubed & dried out (I used Savory’s Garlic Thick Crust)
- 1/3 cup onions, diced
- 1/3 cup celery, diced
- 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped & toasted
- 1/2 cup green apple, peeled, seeded & chopped
- 6 tbsp parsley
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning
- 2 cup veggie stock
- salt to taste
Instructions:
Get all of your ingredients measured out and set them aside. Place olive oil in a pan and set on heat. Once oil starts sizzling, throw in the onions, celery, walnuts and green apple. Cook this mixture until the onions are soft and translucent. Next, stir in your gluten-free cubed and dried pizza crust.
Once the crust is mixed in well, lower the heat and add 1/2 cup of the veggie stock, poultry seasoning, and parsley. Once the crust absorbs all of the stock, add another 1/2 cup and place the lid on the pot.
Stir occasionally and keep adding your veggie stock little by little until you reach the perfect stuffing texture.
This recipe is sure to please those gluten-free taste buds of yours this Thanksgiving.
