Rudi’s Gluten-Free Tortillas
BREAKING NEWS – Rudi’s Gluten-Free Bakery now has gluten free tortillas!!! This new product comes in three flavors – Plain, Fiesta, and Spinach, so you can use them in a variety of different ways! I was sent all three flavors by Rudi’s so I could help get the word out about the tortillas, as well as their Tortilla Giveaway!
The Spinach flavor tortilla inspired me to switch up my usual breakfast, and make a scrumptious omelette instead! Being that my usual breakfast is a Rudi’s toast + egg combo, I was happy to indulge in a pepper & onion omelette wrapped in the Spinach tortilla. Both excited for the change in pace, and impressed at the sight of this wonderful breakfast I had created, I couldn’t wait to dig in. Thoughts after the first bite = the wrap has a good texture, and is not overpowering like other gluten free tortillas I have had in the past. I was thoroughly impressed!
I tested out the Plain flavor tortillas with a chicken, bean, & veggie concoction my mother put together. Since this would be much heavier inside the wrap vs. the egg I previously had, I knew this would be the test of whether it would hold up, or break into pieces. I followed the instructions [microwave for 20-30 seconds] and we started to pile our food on. After realizing I stuffed a bit too much yumminess on my tortilla and could barely hold it with two hands, I took my first bite. It was amazing.
Although the wrap was filled with heavy and wet ingredients, it did not break apart at all! This is something I am very excited about because I cannot tell you how frustrated I get when other gluten free or corn tortillas break in my hands! The tortillas are made with simple and wholesome ingredients, and under 100 calories, making them an even better steal! This product is definitely becoming an addition in my staple gluten free product list!
I have yet to try the Fiesta flavor, but I imagine I will be cooking something spicy up later this week to pair it with. I highly recommend these tortillas, as they are healthy, and full of Rudi’s gluten free goodness!

I would love to be a guest blogger for Rudi’s! However, normally I don’t post recipes, I instead focus on reviewing gluten-free products (I’m not much of a chef)! Love to talk to you more about doing some reviews, or cooking up some easy & simple recipes with Rudi’s products that a 23 year old can handle ;)
